Yes, Doctor, we can resuscitate!
At Sequoia Signs & Graphics, we love to make new signs. As most will tell you, signs can be key to the fortunes of a business and it is always our goal to contribute to our clients success. Old signs can be replaced with new signs to revamp an image and revitalize a business. At times, however, we don’t need to replace old signs- but we do need to revive them!
Dr Linck is has an orthodontic practice in Pleasant Hill and we recently had the pleasure of revitalizing his redwood monument sign. I’ve included before and after pictures with this article. Dr. Linck is a great guy and is very popular in Pleasant Hill. He recently added another good Orthodontist to his practice, Dr. Greg Miller, and he felt it was time to freshen up his signage and add Dr. Miller’s name.
The project had two stages. It is not noticeable in the photos, but the name plates are separate pieces of redwood. We had to have six new panels made (the sign has two faces). In addition, we needed to revamp the main sign panel and repaint the white and gold. Of course, we also had to match the paint on our sign faces to that on the main panel.
The project took a little over a month because of the time needed to prepare the name panels but, as you can see, the wait was well worth it. Only the name panels are new wood- but the entire sign looks fresh and new.
At Sequoia Signs & Graphics, we enjoy creating redwood signage. Obviously, our name speaks to our love of this great Californian resource. Redwood signs always seem to add a touch of class. They are extremely durable, and as our recent project proved- they can be refurbished even many years after initial creation
