How many times have you visited a shopping complex and had a hard time locating your store? This happens all to often but the problem is easily solved with attractive directory signs!
We recently had the chance to work with our client, Countrywood Shopping Center, to replace worn signage with vibrant new directories and they turned out great! The Countrywood Shopping Center is located on Treat and Bancroft in Walnut Creek. It is an outstanding place to shop and has a very nice variety of great businesses. The center recently updated their website, and they wanted to revise their directories in a similar vein. That’s where we came in- at Sequoia Signs & Graphics, we take pride in our attention to detail and we love providing fresh ideas to our clients.
We worked with Countywood to color-code the center’s numerous businesses. Now, customers can search the directory by color to find the right category, and the easy numbering system allows them to pinpoint the desired business, quickly and effortlessly.
At Sequoia Signs & Graphics, our attention to detail does not end with the design. When we reviewed the previous signwork, we saw that someone had just attached RTA vinyl to the sign backing without much concern for longevity. Unfortunately, the method they used helped contribute to the cracking and discoloration that you can see in the ‘before’ photo. For the new directories, we applied high quality vinyl to a foamcore backing and laminated it with UV protective film. These signs are attached to the monument sign and will fair much better in the Californian sun.
