Simple black dimensional letters- They are the “little black dress” of the sign world which is to say they are extremely versatile and appropriate for almost all occasions. As you can see in the attached photos, we recently had the opportunity to create a great sign for Moraga Pediatric Dentistry.
Joanna Cheung is a pediatric dentist that just moved her practice to the town of Moraga. As the name implies, she caters to children and has a great kid-friendly facility. She already has a great business going, but she needed sign.
We met with Joanna and discussed her needs. It was a fairly easy consultation- she knew that she wanted: simplicity. Beyond that, her building has a “Master Sign Program” which she had read and knew that her options within the plan were limited. Master Sign Programs are a double edged sword. They can be restrictive on location and sizes of signs- BUT they are essentially ‘pre-approved’ by the town, so if we comply with the restrictions, the permit process is greatly facilitated.
In the end, it was fairly simple. Joanna just wanted her business name in classic dimensional letters- of course, we had to match the fonts on her logo. We used formed plastic letters using a combination of stud and pad mount. (this allows us to maintain the strength of a stud mount but requiring only half the drill holes into the building.) These letters are extremely durable and weather resistant. In fact, they come with a lifetime warranty. We also warranty our workmanship- so our clients are well protected if there were ever a problem down the road!
The result looks fantastic. Her sign is easily visible to anyone travelling on Moraga Road.
